The rumors are true there is a new generation of bloggers at CUNY Law. We thank those who passed this space on for their great work and we wish them luck in their future internet endeavors.
It was brought to our attention that the blog was talked about at the Dean’s coffee yesterday. To make it clear we do not support the anonymous attacks against faculty, staff or alumni that this space sometimes gets used for. However, we do support the anonymous postings that add to the conversations about the community especially when it discloses things that are decided behind closed doors. We here at the cunyblogspot would love to see more transparency in administrative decisions that affect all of us as a community. We hope this space can be used not only to expose these decisions but help find a constructive middle ground that benefits all parties. We would like to see transparency in all situations that pertain to students; whether it be about seminar offerings or visting professors. There are positives to having anonymous postings and we encourage more students, faculty and/or staff to post as regularly as possible.
